today i watched a video by grogheadflow from leggopoker where he’s climbing up stakes on party poker. he said he made $300 deposit to grind 50nl. he also said “i can easily crush these stakes blah blah so brm doesn’t matter”. oh yeah? since my roll is locked on fulltilt as well i made a tiny deposit on stars($300 as well!) to grind nanostakes. here’s recent graph:
that’s almost 11 buy-ins from high to low on that downswing even while ‘crushing’ the game. it’s not that uncommon. in fact it happens quite frequently

finally decided to play some cash hu ad luckily got action. noticed that guy in the lobby, i tagged him as weak. he had at least 8 hu tables open, so i joined 4 of them. that was the first sign he’s a reg. as i discovered later, he had 5.5BB/100 winrate over 100k hand sample at 50nl hu according ptr. anyway, here’s the graph:
he played very straightforward and didn’t adapt: he was checking behind on flop his strong hands (tp+) and then was doing goofy plays like minraising turnbet and donking 1/3 pot on the river etc etc (learned it the hard way in the beginning). yet he was double-barreling his bs&weak made hands and checking the river. since he didn’t want to adapt it was kind of easy playing with him..and then he obviously quit. at least it was fun!

Hello world! This is my new blog. I don’t know how frequently I’m going to post but I’ve decided to keep blogging. So..my blog is not dead! I think this blog will be less like BBV and more strategy/hh-review based..even though most traffic to my previous blog was from search terms such as poker graph or 50nl graph.
Ok so as you have already guessed, I still play mostly heads-up (though sometimes I play rush poker – I’m such an action junkie!), almost exclusively limitless Texas Hold’em (well some omaha also I have to confess), cash and sngs (I was close to shipping the miniftops HU but it was literally on of two HU mtts I’ve plaed last year..so probably I should play more mtts). Stakes would be 50nl and 100nl cash and 50-80 husngs with occasional 30s when there’s no action at all or 100s if there’s any action. Site is Fulltilt poker mostly, started playing on Stars again few days ago but not really going to grind VPPs to get “rakeback”. I’m willing to try new sites soon! ipoker/pacific/entraction/??..
